Rebecca Blacksmith Interviews Imwave Founder on Leaders Portfolio Show

Last week I was honored to be invited to be interviewed on Rebecca Blacksmith’s Leaders Portfolio radio show.  Leaders Portfolio is a CEO leadership interview show broadcasting in the Washington, DC area hosted by Rebecca Blacksmith.   The show will air at 11am on Wednesday February 3rd on Washington DC’s business talk Radio 1260AM WWRC, and then be available online at LeadersPortfolio.com thereafter.  I arrived early, and as the first guest on the show, I got a chance to talk to Rebecca and her husband and business partner, Chris Padot.  They are a very bright and dynamic couple with some very good business ideas and a strong desire to give back to the community.  It was a pleasure getting to know them both. Over 2 Billion Ads Served on Google!

I was looking over my Google Stats today an noticed that we have reached a major milestone, we recently served up our 2 Billionth Ad on Google!!! Since starting IMWave we have displayed over 2 Billion Ads through Google Adwords, received almost 25 Million clicks on those ads at a cost of just over $2.5 Million. Google sent us a refrigerator when we had served over 1 million ads, I wonder what 2 Billion should get...

Tony Pantano Joins IMWave as CEO

It gives me great pleasure to announce that as of October 1st, 2006, Tony Pantano has officially joined IMWave’s management team as the CEO.  I first started working with Tony in 1994 when Sara and I brought Tony in to our first company to help us grow it.  Tony was instrumental in helping us grow and ultimately sell Cyberia in 1998. Tony was most recently the Regional Vice President of Interactive Media for the York Newspaper Company, where he lead the team responsible for the creation and implementation of all consumer marketing programs and managed the Internet operations for all of MediaNews Group’s Pennsylvania newspapers.
